More Mystery

There is only very little we have been told

It doesn't add up, there is little sense in it,

Warranting more questions and more hatred

There's more to this than meets the eye

It's a lot worse than the history books claim

Looking back in search of answers, 

the trail is bloody, cold, unrecognisable

The echoes of unimaginable torment pierces us 

And for every answer unearthed, 

Only more questions reel in, 

more contempt that the truth was painted with lies

Mamas faced with cruel decisions to prevent their children from experiencing such horrors

A Classic case of between the devil and deep blue sea, one of many mentioned

Only more mysteries of gruesome inhumanity

Only more demystified causes of our ancestors’ pain and unforgiveness

there really is more than meets the eye with literally everything. well said Deinso, I also constantly think about the fact that history as we know it is really just one person's perspective.

I particularly like this one because of how much I relate to it. In reality, there is always more than meets the eye. It’s never black and white, there’s always a gray in between
