Who would have ever thought,
that my thoughts of you would be of concern?
Who would have ever thought,
that I’d desire and wish you well?
But here I am,
Down on my knees.
Here I am,
hands clasped in sincere compassion praying.
Here I am,
making intercessions in your stead.
Here I am,
concerned about your well being.
Who could have thought ,
I’d ever think of you fondly?
But here I am,
letting grace take my hand.
Here I am,
turning my back on resentment
Here I am,
surrendering to peace of mind
Who would have thought,
forgiving you would feel so divine?
Who would ever have thought,
that love would thrive?

I love how real and raw your writings are. Whether long or short, they are surreal to read. You are truly gifted
